Published Tue 20 Sep 2016

We are excited to announce that Tim Hamill will be the new head coach for the women's program for the upcoming summer season.

Tim brings with him a wealth of playing and coaching experience.  He is the current coach for the NSW Institute of Sport and the Australian Born ’97 Junior Men’s team. In these roles he has a strong focus on equipping players to deal with the physicality of the sport, developing game sense to ensure players know the intricacies of the game and working on shooting technique and speed with the ball.  His ability to impart knowledge in these areas and his overall coaching experience will be a real asset to the women’s program at the Club.

As a player Tim comes with enormous experience having played 12 seasons of national league for Balmain - scoring 325 goals and captaining the side to four bronze Medals. During his playing career Tim was also chosen to play for the Australian open men's senior national team.

Tim is very much looking forward to joining the Club in this role and he shares our excitement for the future direction of the club.
